Happy 2nd Birthday Liam and Olivia

Happy birthday to our twins!  We can't believe they are already two.  Where has the time gone?

Liam and Olivia had two parties this year.  First we traveled to Indiana to celbrate with Nathan's family and our Indiana friends.  We had a Dr. Seuss themed party - in honor of Thing One and Thing Two of course!  The kids (and many of the adults) played at the gymnastics center.  Then we celebrated with fun food that can be found in some of the books.  It was so great to spend time with everyone.

 

When we got home from Indiana we celebrated again with a small dinner at our house on Liam and Olivia's actual birthday (July 23rd).  I would have to say the best part of the night was the cake...

Fun with Friends

We have been having lots of fun with friends lately.  A couple weeks ago my childhood friend Aimee was in town with her two boys from Colorado.  They came over for pizza, and our friend Megan and her family were also able to join us.  We had so much fun, but the best part was watching all the kids play together.  The trampoline was by far the most popular toy!

Last weekend we went to the Sacramento Children's Museum with Laura, Alex and their boys Tyler and Ryan.  The kids all had so much fun doing the hands-on activities, but I couldn't get them all together for a photo!

Yesterday was Tyler and Ryan's bday party. We spent almost the entire time in the pool - and with two kids under two that means both parents were all wet!  No photos of this fun day!  Need to get a water camera...

And of course Liam and Olivia are friends too!  They have been having lots of fun playing in the backyard.

What have we been up to?!

So, we have been fantastic parents, but pretty bad bloggers lately....and by lately, we mean since last September. We've been taking TONS of video and pictures, but just haven't done a great job sharing them with you all. Well, that's about to change. Friends and family, look out....the Moses Twins are back!

First Hair Cuts (This was an extra special day for us since Chris did my first hair cut and still cuts my hair today.  She also cuts my moms hair and used to cut both grandma's hair - now four generations!)

And this is just the BIG stuff.  We love going to the park, sliding down the "big kid" slides, riding our bikes, swimming, play dough, coloring, reading, bath time, banana cookies made by Mommy, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, our blankies, jumping on our trampoline, puzzles and laughing.  All this and we even had a visit from Super Liam recently...

Liam and Olivia keep us very busy, but we sure are happy.  They make us smile every day.  We love them so much and can't believe they will be two soon.  Time flies when you're having fun!
